Each time, entering a system to be observed, requires, in part, that the subject of the observation be misled by the observer. The observer, in turn, misleads himself, believing that the apparent resemblance to the observed subject not only serves the needs of camouflage, but also functions on a second level. There, symbolisms and allegories, regardless of their origin, are called upon to idealize the act of observation. In this case, the Orphic story functions as an analogue of the persons and objects photographed, while the identification with the myth serves as an exit map, attesting to the possibility that the observer may not be assimilated by the system but emerge unscathed, or even benefited.
